Information is our craft
Our company embraces the individual; we welcome autonomy and initiative. Our journalists are encouraged to develop their own leanings, expertise, understanding and network of sources. It is from our diverse personalities that we are able to create publications of unparalleled worth.
We produce three publications that are each an authority in their field: Africa Intelligence, Intelligence Online and La Lettre A. All cover sectors where information can be hard to access. Our goal is to get to the heart of power, whether economic or political. Our exclusive, rigorous, unbiased information is invaluable to our readers.
Indigo Publications is based in Paris but has an international outlook. Our editorial team is backed by a vast network of correspondents active in Africa, Europe, North America and Asia. Two of our publications – Africa Intelligence and Intelligence Online – are published in English and French. Our content is geared towards a truly global readership.
Our editorial independence comes from having full financial independence. Created by journalists, Indigo Publications is entirely owned by its management and staff. Our company enjoys sustainable growth. We never make use of advertising nor offer any consultancy work. Our only clients are our readers.
Founded in 1981 in the age of printed press, Indigo Publications was a precursor of online publications with the launch in 1995 of Intelligence Online, the online version of the printed newsletter Le Monde du Renseignement. All our publications have been put online since. Having gone online as early as 1992 means we are now able to offer our readers nearly 30 years of archives.
Journalism is our raison d’être. A press group is made up of journalists but IT, sales and marketing experts are just as much at the heart of our company. Above all, we are a team of individuals who are encouraged to be autonomous, take initiative and show audacity.
